-Update 11/14/2009, Version 0.9.6 is now available in the App Catalog. We recommend upgrading to this version - it is free in the Palm App Catalog.

Updates include :

 - Change in format to improve screen display for both the Palm Pre and Palm Pixie.  Date format, accuracy data location changed to improve display layout.

 - Bug with User Preferences for including Lat / Long in text messages fixed.

 - Additional User Preference added to include or not include address in text messages.  This permits the user to customize the information they want in the text message - while permitting them to limit the length of those messages as well.

Our first application in the App Catalog, "Send My Location for webOS",is a simple app that compliments existing functionality of Palm® webOS™.

This was our first experience with the world of Mojo - a chance to learn about the available APIs and widgets, as well as figure out how scenes and stages all played nice on the phone...

Send My Location for webOS takes existing features of the webOS™ and puts them together to provide a convenient way to let someone know where you are.  Making use of the location based services API, Send My Location for webOS retrieves and displays your location information. With a tap you can generate an email or text message with your location info as well as a link to display your location on Google Maps.  You can also launch the webOS™ Google Maps App with the position plotted.
